Performance Driving Modes

Customize you dose of adrenaline. 3 Driving Mode Select (Eco, Normal, Sport) enables you to makes your UX300h more responsive or efficient with the simple turn of a dial.

8-Inch Multimedia Display

This function coordinates the display of information from the multimedia systems on the 8-inch display premium audio system with 6 speakers, Bluetooth, Radio, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

USB Ports/Power Outlet/Accessory Socket

Two USB-C ports in the front tray and two USB-C ports in the rear of the center console enable the charging of various devices and portable gear. An accessary socket and USB-A port integrated inside the center console box support the plug-and-play use of music players. An additional AC power outlet or accessory socket is located in the side of the luggage space.

Intuitive Controls

As you settle into the driver's seat, you'll notice controls that are intuitively positioned toward you. Available heated and ventilated front seat controls have been positioned near the center console armrest for easy access. And USB-C ports provide more ways to keep your favorite devices charged and connected.

Meters

Realizing the Seat in Control concept of the human-centered interior, the 12.3-inch full graphic meter is designed to provide the driver with essential driving information without changing posture or line of sight. Select system information is also displayed on the multi-information display integrated into the meter. Three different meter displays, with a central tachometer, tachometer and analog speedometer, or simple digital speedometer, allow the driver to select their preferred layout.

Touch Displays

The 8-inch touch displays show incoming hands-free mobile calls, audio system, navigation system and other information, and support easy integration and control of smartphone functionality using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. They are optimally positioned for natural operation while driving, to realize quick and intuitive operation.

Shift Knob

The shift lever features an electronic shift system which provides clear and quick operation with a pleasant feel. The shift knob was designed with a focus on tactile grip, combining intuitive operation with a beautiful form.

Air Conditioning Vent Knob

An imaginative approach to technology drove the development of a single easy-to-use air conditioning vent knob that controls both air direction and volume. The integration of wireless LED lighting into the knob makes it easy to use at night, and projects a futuristic sophistication with its sense of depth.

Lexus Climate Concierge

The Lexus Climate Concierge realizes a human-centered approach to personalized comfort. It automatically controls the cabin temperature, including individual temperature controls and the Ventilated Seats for the front seats to optimize the comfort of each occupant. It also provides one-touch control of all heating systems in the cabin.

Luggage Space

Supporting an active lifestyle, the ample luggage space highlights the practical convenience of the packaging and thoughtful design. For longer items and larger loads, the 60/40 split rear seatbacks fold down to create various passenger and luggage configurations

LED Rear Combination Lamps

The bold design of the rear combination lamps reinforces the UX’s unique identity. The left and right lamps are connected by the aero stabilizing blade lights to form a single line of light across the rear, illuminated by 132 LEDs. This form is complemented by the advanced aerodynamics of the L-shaped race car-inspired fins, which contribute to excellent rear stability while cornering and in side winds.

Moonroof

The forward placement of the moonroof lets in an abundance of light, enhancing the open and airy feeling in the cabin. Its structure and shape were refined to help reduce wind noise when it is open.

Forward Visibility

A key focus of the human-centered design was forward visibility, with the aim of providing a commanding view and peace of mind. Special attention was given to the design of the front pillars and door mirror area, creating a space between the pillar and mirror to enhance the visibility of pedestrians and bicycles at intersections.

EXTERIOR

Compact and taut, the dynamic exterior flows from the distinctive Lexus spindle grille into the three-dimensional forms of the fenders flaring out from the cabin center, expressing powerful driving performance and secure robustness with an eye-catching appeal.

PERFORMANCE

A dynamic expression of the Lexus 'clear and deep feel' performance philosophy, the advanced platform and aerodynamics and refined powertrain endow the UX with ‘clear’ responsive steering feel and elegant ride comfort, and ‘deep’ confident driving performance.

EXPERIENCE THE UX Hybrid

The Hybrid System was developed to deliver a high level balance between high output and excellent fuel economy, offering driving performance characteristic of an electric vehicle. The combination of a highly-efficient 2.0-liter inline engine with a high-output motor and lithium-ion battery that enhances acceleration feel, sporty control for driving tailored to the driver's preferences, and enhancing the deceleration range controlled by accelerator pedal operation to reduce the burden of brake control, contribute to smooth, responsive and comfortable driving. E-Four optimally controls the distribution of drive force to the front and rear wheels. The ample rear motor output enables comfortable starting and turning on slippery surfaces such as snow-covered and uphill roads, as well as confident turning on dry roads.

Lexus Safety Sense package 3.0 is a suite of standard advanced safety equipment and convenience features designed to bring peace of mind to every drive.

SRS Airbags

The UX features dual-stage SRS airbags (Front seats), SRS knee airbags (Front seats), SRS side airbags (Front seats) and SRS curtain shield airbags (Front and rear seats).

Front and Rear Park Sensor

To make parking even easier, sensors in the front and rear bumper link with an in-car beeper to warn of obstacles in your way. The beeper can be turned off when not required.

Multi Material Body

To create a strong yet light body, hot-stamp and high-tensile steel were used in key body components including the underbody, together with aluminum for the hood and side doors, and resin for the back door. Reinforcements include around the outer side and back doors that connect the squared reinforced annular structures, stability-enhancing braces between the radiator support upper and front side members, and gussets on the lower back panel. Together with the extensive use of technologies including laser screw welding and structural body adhesive that further enhance rigidity, they contribute to agile handling and excellent steering response and feedback.
