LEXUS SLIDE: FLOAT ABOVE THE REST
Lexus went directly from the drawing board to literally a board that floats. The Lexus SLIDE hoverboard was designed to not only demonstrate Lexus passion for mobility, but also showcases Lexus commitment to creating amazing. The hoverboard is created from an insulated core, containing HTSLs (high temperature superconducting blocks) housed in cryostals. The board is then placed above a track of magnets, which induce a current in the hover’s blocks allowing the hover itself to float because of the Meissener effect.

LEXUS SPORT YACHT: FLAGSHIP FROM LAND TO SEA
Meet the Sport Yacht
The LY650 is the seaborne embodiment of Lexus design. Lexus partnered with master boat builders, Marquis-Larson to produce a luxury yacht like none other in the seas. Refined luxury, aerodynamic lines, an aggressive silhouette and interior comfort are all aboard the Lexus Sport Yacht. The impressive 19.81-meter premium performance yacht features Lexus design cues with a maritime interpretation features three staterooms and several multi-purpose entertainment and lounge areas. The Lexus Sport Yacht originally began as a concept and will be launching late 2019. The SLIDE, Lexus Spacecraft and the Lexus Sport Yacht are three innovations engineered and introduced by the brand under the premise of mobility. The former two imagines futuristic travel, while the latter redefines luxurious sailing. Design represent the seed of all three innovations.

LEXUS SPACECRAFT: FLAGSHIP FROM LAND TO SKY
The science-fiction movie, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, by French director Luc Besson. Lexus designers brought to life the SKYJET, a single-seat pursuit craft for filming. Directors created a vessel 700 years forward in the future. The SKYJET design adopts Lexus’ design philosophy and technical innovations with an interpretation of the brand’s aerodynamic silhouette, signature spindle grille and a headlight design similar to that of the LC coupe.
